How can I make a Doggie Treadmill or Treadwheel?

Online the Doggie Treadmills and The Doggie Treadwheel ( looks like a hamster wheel, only larger) , are crazy expensive What materials would I need to make the tread wheel?? What would I have to do to transform a human one into a doggie one.

You could use a human one and tie the dog to it start out slow
