How do I paint and stencil a screen patio door?

someone did answer this on one of the DYI sites, I have a patio screen door that I need to put something on so my grandkids will not walk through it all the time. Sorry I lost the answer, but it was very good advice. Thanks happy 2019

I used a needle and embroidery thread and put designs on the screen door part and it worked great at my mom's house. No one ever tried to go through the screen door again!
