Hi there, is the cat still living in the home or are you moving into a home that used to have a cat?

  • Clean well and clean often. The person with the allergies should see a proper allergist as there is medication on the market that will alleviate the symptoms.

Cuc,. You need to vacuum everyday, and use a hepa filter. Try buying an air cleaner that you can leave out where you have the most traffic. Keep dusting. Aloha!

Vacuum walls and ceilings, using brush attachment and crevice tool. Scrub every wall surface with a soft bristled brush or large cloth, using Spic n'Span or similar. Rinse cloth between scrubs. Rinse and dry.

Apply Baking soda all over the carpets. Scrub in using a broom or similar. Let set 4 hours or more. Vacuum, using HEPA filter bag, then apply Resolve carpet cleaner following directions. Vacuum again and dispose of sweeper bag.

Scrub all bare floor surfaces with floor surface appropriate cleaners. Wipe dry.

Wipe all sealed shelving, cabinets, appliances with a 10/1 ratio of water/bleach, then use Murphyls Oil Soap on all finished wood surfaces, including cabinet interiors.

Any curtains or draperies, removable linens should be laundered or dry cleaned.

Clean, then polish all furniture and baseboards with a lemon or orange based product.

Sprinkle lavender heads on carpets for 1/2 day, if any odor remains, then vacuum.

    Hang lavender sachets in closets.

Pour a solution of rosemary, orange, lavender, tea tree essential oils mixed with water on all concrete surfaces, indoors and out.

Place lemon, orange zest at foundation levels or essential oil of Rue to keep cats away. Grow Rue plants and Lavender near doorways, including driveway areas and patios.
