How can I raise the head of my bed?
The head of my bed in my RV tends to slope down. How can I raise it up without constructing a wooden wedge? I don’t think the mattress is sturdy enough to be able to just stick a piece of wood under it.

Simple, relevel your rig, obviously you are not level, or it has fallen out of level over time.
How much of a rise do you need? Depending on what the feet of your bed look like and how much you need to raise it, you could possibly use those rubber floor protectors that you put under the legs of furniture -- just stack as many as you need if you only need 1/2 - 1" or so. If you need, say, 4", I would purchase a piece of 4"X4" wood at Home Depot that is the length of your mattress. Place that under the box springs across the head of the bed. Then support your box springs by nailing 3/4 plywood to it to create a wedge.
My first instinct was to say, pillows at the higher end of your bed, feet at the lower end......lol. Having a bed uneven would bug me also. I think Beth has a good idea.
