How do I restore a spot on my red leather jacket?
I placed a "Hello, my name is" tag on the front of my red leather jacket. When I removed it, it seems to have taken some of the leather (or the red) off. The jacket is in very good shape and I want to keep it....but without the spot!

Try a leather conditioner. If that doesnt work, take to a shoe repair or a dry cleaners that does leather work (few and far between), for repair.
Leather dye if the jacket is not a pressed leather (a thin leather layer over material). If it is pressed, I'd just put a decorative pin over it. Conditioner or any other leather product will not work.
Online or at a good shoe repair place. I'd also ask the shoe repair people about how to repair it as they work with leather all the time. They may have an alternative/better suggestion.
