How can I update this ice bucket?
I have a lovely big ice bucket I'd like to use. The horses on the front are so outdated. Tried to cover it with contact paper no luck. Anybody got ideas?

Paint it?
Love the vintage ice bucket! Leave it as is!
You spray paint it . They have a primer spray paint that you can spray to cover the design with . Then you can paint it any color you want. You can either use acrylic paints or sray paint. If you use acrylic paint you will need to seal it with a clear coat to protect it. Hope this helps
You don't have to be embarrassed about your ice bucket! So many people LOVE vintage pieces! It is functional and could be a great conversation starter if there's a story behind how you acquired it! Does anyone really care where their ice comes from at a social gathering?! You could always hide it inside a larger canister so no one could see the horses and dogs!
Please don't paint your bucket
No! It’s a gorgeous retro item. If it’s not to your tastes sell it and buy a new one.
