Marble fireplace mantel . . .how to repurpose?
We replaced our old marble mantel & now I would like to repurpose it. The piece measures 8" x 1 1/4" x 6'. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I like the white applied with a rag or watered down and applied with a brush. Solid is pretty blah! Experiment with two or three colors on a piece of cardboard. Maybe a tan, a white and a brick red to mix. Dab on a bit of each until you get a look you like.
Thanks for your input. I like the idea of mixing the colors for a custom color.
