Didn't you read the instructions before purchasing? If you can't do the cleaning / scrubbing part, can a family member or friend help? There is no "easy" way to do this. You just need to dive in and go for it! 🌞
I haven't been impressed with those kits either. But yes, cleaning the cabinets is crucial to a good finish. The grease in a kitchen will not allow paint to stick.
For kitchens, after cleaning the cabinets, I prime and then use enamel paint for the best results.
Well I have decided to actually just go ahead and sand my cabinets they are flat like absolutely flat there are no curves no design no nothing on my cabinets so it's super easy to sand them & I have an electric sander so that is the way I am going :-) and you are absolutely right there is definitely no easy way to do this but to me this is the easiest way and yes I did read the instructions however I did not think that you needed a bulldozer per say to get everything off of the cabinet and I was just diagnosed about four months ago with radial palsy which makes my hand not work properly so doing the heavy extensive scrubbing was not going to work for me I just didn't realize how much extensive scrubbing was going to have to be done at the time that I purchased the kit
