How To: Stencil an Elegant Tile Floor
Hi Shelley! I can tell you how to paint linoleum flooring with Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint! :)
It is super easy to paint with Dixie Belle:
Step one: Clean with White Lightning
Step two: Sand with fine sandpaper
Step three: Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. If you want to stencil over this base color, allow the base to dry and then apply your stencil and paint that.
Step four: Use Gator Hide for a water-resistant finish
I'm attaching before and after photos so you can see the outcome.
Here is a link to a blog on our website that explains in better detail the step-by-step process with photos! https://dixiebellepaint.com/blog/dixiebellepaint/painting-on-linoleum-floors-with-dixie-belle-paint/

You will need to sand and clean the surface really well then use XIM Bonding primer and apply two coats. Next paint your color of choice, use a roller or stencil pattern for some fun design and then seal - BenMoore Stays Clear is great. But remember that any surface like this will require maintenance - so clean the floor well every year and add another 1 or 2 coats of the Stays Clear. Here are a couple of floors that I've done - both of these were concrete - https://www.artisticpaintingstudio.com/?s=concrete+floor
