How do I stop the unpainted stucco from coming off of my retaining wall in large slabs?

Sounds like it may not have been installed properly. Can you provide us more info?
Moisture has gotten behind it and it will keep coming off. Do you know who did your stucco? You need to contact them.
This is a very old 3 foot wall and does have soil behind it, so I suspect moisture is seeping through and causing the stucco to soften and come off. I was wondering if sealing the exposed side with some type of sealer would allow me to restucco and then paint over it would help?
