How else can I cover my couch besides slip covers?
My mother gave me her couch last year, I'm not a fan of the floral pattern so I picked up a slipcover. I'm looking to do something different because the slipcover moves around to much.

You can hand sew the cover on the couch. Time consuming, but inexpensive.
Or use upholstery twist pins to hold in place.
You can place a wooden rod behind the cushions (if you have these) and press down to the bottom of couch
If you don't have a wooden rod as Karen suggested, rolled up magazines used the same way can help. (I'm assuming the slipcover is fairly fitted...if it's a "throw type" none of these ideas will work.)
