How can I showcase my favorite mugs over my stove?
I want to showcase some of my favorite mugs. I love the idea of hanging them over the stove lots of wall space but my husband is concerned about the hear of the stove onto a shelf. I can hang them under some cabinet space. Any suggestions on hangers?

I agree with your husband that not wise for over hob, not for his reason but on one point you can get alot of grease buildup under cabinet and two it is more for the health and safety aspect. If you are reaching for a cup whilst cooking then you could knock pans or get burnt easily.
Go for under cabinate, my mum has hers here, she has a pieces of wood under with cup hooks to hold the cups.
You can buy for small hooks that screw into the wood. If should work well.. Good luck!
I think any hook would work if you hang the bottoms in line with the cabinets. If you are not sure, Command hooks are great for not leaving a mark when you remove them. I would not be as concerned about the heat, as I would be about grease splatters and having to wash them.
It looks like we all agree about not over the cooking surface (heat, grease, etc.) I have mine over the sink on the underside of that cabinet (but my hanger was purchased about 30 years ago, is round and spins).
Have you thought about making a coffee station , very popular right now . I bought a large distressed white key from Hobby Lobby , it has hooks on the bottom , perfect for hanging mugs . I also bought a large distressed wooden C ( our last name ) to hang over it .I wish that I had pictures to show you . I was fortunate to be given a beautiful old buffet and my other items will set on it , coffee maker , big metal coffee mug , to hold coffee . I am also incorporating a beautiful tea set on the other end . Distressing and old board with hooks is another idea . Let you imagination go wild . Good luck , I would love to send you a picture , when I am finished !
