How do I polish jade?

I have a small piece of jade that was shiney and then turned cloudy. Can it be polished to bring back the shine?

Yes, good advice from the other Hometalkers, your Jade needs to be addressed by a professional.
Jade is a soft stone, and care must be taken with it. Do you know why it turned cloudy? I would advise taking it to a reputable jeweler and letting them know how it turned cloudy as that would help them in knowing what to do to fix the problem.
