Option 1: A taupe color
How do I choose a color for my front door?
I have 1940 red brick tudor revival home and it currently has a red door with black shutters. Am considering changing the door color to either a neutral tan ( to blend in with the stone door surround ) or a blue-green Teal color. Am keeping the black shutters. NOTE: My front yard is filled with red roses and yellow daylilies all summer long. Would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
Option 2: A deeper taupe color
Option 3: Teal color

Before I read the complete question, I was thinking a deep teal color because of your yellow accents. Maybe this BM Largo Teal (link below). You have a lovely home. I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy your porch. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/13933080067713525/?lp=true
I think the teal would be a beautiful pop of color!
Skip the neutral tan. You have a darling home, give it a pop of color! My vote is for the blue-green teal.

I like the lighter teal, you would want a color that leans more toward green than blue and not a darker (more saturated) tone of the same color. Light and bright. I think a creamy yellow color would also be pretty, nothing too "Sun" color yellow. There are tons of images at Pinterest that will inspire you.
HELLO, IS YOUR FRONT DOOR WOOD? IS IT A CRAFTMANS STYLE, AND IT YOU REMOVED ALL THE PAINT WOOD YOU HAVE A NATURAL WOOD? IF SO YOU MIGHT CONSIDER A WOOD STAIN COLOR. YOU COULD DO A WOOD LOOK PROCESS,,LOOK ON LINE ..MAYBE YOUTUBE.. ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE BLACK SHUTTERS? MATCH THE SHUTTERS WITH YOUR DOOR. ADD EVERGREEN TO YOUR FRONT GARDEN, LOOK IN MAGAZINES FOR IDEAS..YEAR IS CUTE, BUT YOU MIGHT LIKE SOMETHING ELSE YOU SEE IN MAGAZINES. ALWAYS GO FOR CLASSIC AND NATURAL FINISHES TO HAVE A HOUSE OF HIGHER VALUE.. HOPE I DIDN'T BLOW YOU OUT OF YOUR THINKING SPACE. I HAVE DONE THESE REDOES MANY TIMES.. GOOD LUCK, DARLING HOME!
Yellow
I really like the pop of yellow...Have you considered doing the door in a sunny yellow? It would coordinate with the yellow flowers in the summer and give a bit of cheer in the winter. Just an idea
I would like natural wood if possible or a deeper brown maybe even a pumpkin color
Love the teal!
