How can I make a kitchen floor look new again?
What is the best way to clean grout on a kitchen floor that is now brown? It should be white. The cream colored tiles also have chips in them that reveal brown colored core of the tile so the tile looks like it has spots of dirt. Can I fill the chips in or paint them?

I had that exact issue. First clean the best you evered. Then match the color of the tile and a quart of semigloss oil paint. Paint the grout and brown chips. Don't drive yourself crazy about being perfect because any overages can be just wiped off before it dries. In fact I painted it "wide" and wiped off. Some ares, took two coats. Don't be lazy and paint entire floor, paint does not stick for long on tile and will peel. It does stick to grout and chips. Mine still looks great and white 10 years later.
