Hi Beth. I'm Cindy. When it comes to decorating, I always use the "Groups of Three" method. Rather than breaking up groupings, you should display your decor items in groups of three. Also, if you want to make a statement, display large items. And, last but not least, plants and up-lights. Big floor plants make a room feel grand. Then put an up-light under the plant. This will cast shadows on the ceiling and walls. Talk about drama. Wishing you well Beth. Good luck.
