I'm looking for ideas on how to repurpose potato chip canisters other than storing food in them.
I drive around the back of mini malls. If they are leaning against the walls or dumpsters I assume they're trash....those are "free". If they're stacked up they will be picked up.
Building sites, building companies or any company that get large deliveries because most come on pallets. In our town there are always facebook posts on marketplace giving them away or asking for them.
You go scrounging for them. Do some dumpster diving while you are at it!

In many places they are free or at least low cost. Learn which ones you can use v. The ones you shouldn't use too.
Tractor Supply Company here in NJ are always giving us pallets. They have a lot of stuff coming in with them and they don't charge.
