How can I repurpose old photo frames?
I have several old (mostly thin and wooden) frames that I have painted, but don’t know what to do with them. I don’t need to use them for photos per se, but I did save the glass from them. The backs are in pretty bad condition from age. Any ideas of something to make from them?

Run a sturdy thread/cord from side to side and use it to hang your earrings. Make new backs from cereal boxes or any cardboard. then glue mementos like postcards, ticket stubs, drinks coasters, matchbooks, anything you are collecting to the backs and hang as a decoration and a memory!
over 500 ways~~ many still LOOK like picture frames but no way to really hide that though!

Don't Throw Away Old Picture Frame[Turn Into Serving Tray] !
Put mirrors in them and arrange the on a table base and make a neat coffee table.
Hi ! I think your picture shows a nice idea by itself ! Lay them out ,in an interesting pattern glue them together where they meet and hang them on the wall ! Other things you can do ...take a few glue and staple together and attach chicken wire to the back , screw in some looks on the front to hang things , or use cloths pin and hang photos , or jewelry from !
I went to my local hardware store and had peg board cut to fit my old frames and use them in my craftroom
Yeah, I like the way you have them layed out. Geometric shapes are big in decor. You could hang them on the wall in the same way shown in the picture, gluing them together at the points where they touch. Love the colours you used.
I agree with Pamela, that the pic you showed looks rather pleasing. You could expand on that idea and customize them to fit into a long narrow area of your home where nothing much fits. It's a unique look and I actually may do something similar in the open area above my bathtub/shower area. Just a touch of color their to bring the colors of the bathroom together!
With the glass inserted they make a "white board", if you have kids, hang their drawings on the wall, put the frame over the kids drawing tack the frame over the drawing with a small nail change out every month or so, have fun !
I too like the way they are laid out and the colors already on. My idea: get a few sheets of colored vellum/transparency plastic... a few different colors that would look nice overlapping (where the frames are overlapping). If the original glass would make hanging difficult, replace with plastic laminate. Secure it all with glue and hang in a window that has a less-than-desirable view.
Put several lines of twine/embroidery thread across each one and get some small pegs (at the craft store) to make memo boards
You could make cute little green house out of it or a lantern glue together with e600 glue will last out side if needed or water resistant
