How do I fix a faded corner of my hardwood floors?
A small section, near corner of my hardwood, kitchen floor, constantly fades. Polished is fine, than lightens. I suspect coming from crawl space beneath. Could it be from insulation? Would like to avoid & have nice, shiny floor. Would brown shoe polish work? Any ideas, on how I can avoid this? How can I correct this? Help me solve my mystery....

Any windows? Typically fading is due to sun damage.
Brown shoe polish is a great idea. Insulation wouldn't lighten it. Sunlight would or strong light would. Bleach cleaning products left on too long would also do it.
