How do I turn a stool into a planter
Are you asking how to make the stool itself into a planter???? If so...
You can find a pot that is smaller in diameter than where the legs fit in - this is important so you don't cut the legs!
Draw a circle around the circumference of that smaller pot, centering it in the middle of the existing seat. Make sure you leave enough of the top intact so that it's strong enough to hold a pot full of dirt that is wet!
You can find the center of the seat by holding a ruler or tape measure at one edge. Move the measuring tool until you get to the widest part and make a pencil mark along your tool edge.
Move your measuring tool to another spot and repeat. The center of the seat is where your 2 pencil lines cross.
If you have a sawz all the cut is easy. I don't have one so what I would do is use a hole cutter on my drill (which I do have) to cut a smaller hole out of the part that's getting cut away. I can then fit in my jig saw blade to cut around the circle you've drawn.
Drop the pot in and plant as normal! Personally I would spray the stool with Rustoleum all finishes paint for outdoors so the stool would last longer outdoors. 😎👍💐
