Home Depot and lowes sell panels that are tin and also some like a plastic. You can glued or use fine finishing nails. This would be easiest. A friend of mine used textured, PAINTABLE, wallpaper on the ceiling and painted it grayish. Looked great Perhaps this could work as a backsplash. I plan to do the panels as a backsplash in my kitchen. Good luck

Hi ! I have been looking into this to use as a kitchen backsplash . Home depot has artificial tin "plates" about 2 1/2 ft square in size, it has either 9 or 16 times stamped onto the one sheet or plate . It doesn't look too hard to work with . I am also looking into wallpaper that is textured to look like tin tiles and is paintable . I am leaning towards this , but am also looking into removable wallpaper with a similar look . Good luck with your project !
