How do I take the gloss off newly painted white cabinets?
I want to take the gloss of the newly painted white cabinets that I finished painting. The gloss is easy to clean but shows every tiny mistake in the paint and I hate that. What can I do?

Here's a tutorial for creating a matte finish on your cabinets if they're too glossy. The blogger used Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane in a matte finish: https://www.addicted2decorating.com/upper-cabinets-finished-and-i-finally-achieved-the-perfect-sheen.html
You can sand the glossiness down, but I've found that it's really difficult to get the sanding to look even and neat afterwards. You can also buy a deglosser which could work if you don't mind using chemicals. Here's a lovely article I found that explains the pros and cons of sadning or using a deglosser - https://www.thespruce.com/using-sandpaper-and-liquid-sandpaper-deglosser-2879092 Hope it helps
Lightly sand and top with a satin or eggshell paint.
Hello! You can try cleaning your cabinets well and then coat them with Dixie Belle's Clear Coat Flat. This will give a nice, matte finish to your cabinets. As a note it is a water-based product.
You can purchase Clear Coat Flat here: https://dixiebellepaint.com/clear-coat-flat/
Hope this helps and happy painting!
I would go over the gloss with a matte clear sealer. I really like Varathane Polyurethane!
You could clear coat with a Flat or Matte top coat!
