Why not simply make him a special dinner. If your husband is anything like mine, he appreciates food far more than anything I could make or buy him.
In two days, you could mount and paint a tool board of any size that fits on a wall in your garage, mud room or carport. Mounting clasps are available in several sizes and types. You could make the board to mount screwdrivers and hammers or big brooms and mops, whatever he has several of, including keys, wrenches, or yard rakes. So sweet of you!
Go to the dollar store and fill a large bucket with candies/snacks and have an old fashioned game or movie night. Fun and romantic.
Yup, a great dinner for TWO! Here’s a salad I make every year, and I make spinach/ mushroom crepes. And some kind of dessert. One year I bought just a couple of donuts ( chocolate and sugar) ( we never eat donuts ordinaraly) another year I got Palmieres, they look like hearts. This year I’m making a chocolate cake. But here are some other dinner choices, recipes on Pintrest. We also buy Champagne, but an inexpensive sparkling wine is also great. If you have a Trader Joe’s they have a sparkling Pinot Grigio called Contandino (spelling)??? That’s lovely. Dress up nice, put the candles out, the works!!
Salad : fancy lettuce of your choice, canned sliced or fresh beets, if you can find Watermelon radish, crisp pear, or Asian pear, smoked almonds, rasberry vinaigrette. Use heart shaped cookie cutters for beets, radish, pear.
The bottom photos is the watermelon radish, usually a lot more colorful than this particular one. And even if you don’t care for radish, they are beautiful.
some printable art may be a fun idea

Sorry I’m a little late to the game! Why not give him a whole bunch of gift certificates that you make yourself! One could be he gets to watch whatever he wants on TV for a whole weekend. Another could be you’ll cook his favorites for a whole day (or week if he’s been a really good boy). Another could be a back rub. Go wild with it! Enjoy!!
