How to get rid of skunks mating under your deck?

I would call your local animal control and see if they can remove the skunks. Then you may want to put some sort of enclosure under your decking to try to prevent them from returning.

Oh Sandi! That is a terrible thing....the smell, the not knowing when they will be around, etc. I know you have to be upset and I hope that these sites will give you much needed relief from this! I think I would get a person who is trained in capturing these critters. We had raccoons take up residence around the roof, and we got help from those who capture wildlife with traps. You certainly don't want them staying there and they won't leave when they have established themselves. Good luck to you on getting rid of these pests.

I haven't experienced this but I live in the woods and many of my neighbors have. I heard that you need to have a light on them, preferrable angled under the deck. And play music 24/7, they don't like the light and noise and will find another home. Good luck!

Yes they are nocturnal put bright lights under your deck to be rid of them before they have babies there

Skunks do not like moth balls. Keep some anywhere they can enter.

Motion detector floodlight under the deck, put hardware cloth screening or lattice around it to keep them out. Can you extend the fresh air intake with a pipe so it is pulling air from a little further away, or higher up?
