Nichtha, for many years I have used nothing but Old English Furniture Oil. I always keep a bottle of the light color and a bottle of the dark. I often mix them if that matches a piece of furniture better. You can buy it most anywhere; Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Sam's, Lowe's, etc.

you can polish it using 180 grit sand paper but make sure to use some danish oil at the end so it will highlight the wood texture
