Hi Valentine. I'm Cindy. Begin by washing the pan so that no bits of food are stuck to the surface. Dry the pan. Then spray a thick, even coat of non-stick cookware repair spray. (You can find it in your local home improvement store or on line.) Spray it over the entire inside of the dry pan. Next let the pan sit for about a half hour. Then preheat your oven to 500 degrees. Put the pan in the hot oven and let it back for 45 mins. Next turn the oven off but leave the pan in the oven. Allow the pan to cool completely inside the oven. Lastly, wash the pan again with dish soap and a sponge.
Hi ! Once non stick pans are scratched , I would get rid of them , for health reasons.
You don't want to ingest any particles . I know it sounds wasteful, and with a good quality non stick pan , I would still use it , if it was a light surface scratch , but anything more than that , I wouldn't .😕
Luckily, all you have to do to greatly improve this problem is to thoroughly clean and re-season any stained and scratched areas. To do so, simply mix 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons baking soda, and ½ cup white vinegar in the pot or pan that's lost its stick, set on the stove, and heat until boiling for 10 minutes.
Apply coconut oil thoroughly on the nonstick part. Then, heat it up on the medium-high setting. Wait for the pan to cool and wipe it with a dry microfiber cloth. This process will fix your scratched non-stick pan.
I would just leave it alone as any hard rubbing or scraping will remove the non-stick surface
