I assume you mean the closet will only be used for office space? You would want it to be the full width, so I would use 2 short filing cabinets and a cut piece of plywood or other board to fit over them the length and width of the closet. The filing cabinets give you storage space for any office supplies. The back wall could also be used for putting up a cork board or some such for posting notes, info. Then the top closet shelf could be for more permanent supplies like reams of paper etc. Hope this gets you started, Kim.
