How do I finish my table?
I have sanded and used two coats of gel stain to get the color I wanted then I have put 3 coats of water base poly acrylic and I don’t like it. What product can I use to make a more even shiny coats. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Betty m

If you are finding the surface you will need to purchase the high gloss and when putting it on, not removing too much when you are spreading it. You need to let it build up and if necessary do a very light sanding in between costs. I always use Varathane Diamond finish and if the weather is not humid and temps are good you can actually do two or three coats in one day, making sure each coat is perfectly dry. Sand down the present surface and try again with a better product. Do not shake your Varathane before using or you will get tiny bubbles.
