How do I find electrical outlets made precisely for phones/iPads/etc.?
I have seen, and used, outlets where I could plug my phone, and computer directly into the wall. Where are these available? I’m presuming they are new to the public, but still must be within budget. What kind of watts are we talking about for home use?

Amps are more important than Watts, IMO.
Outlets are rated by AMPS. 15 or 20A and these units have to have built-in Transformers, because the phones are not running on line voltage.
Please look at the device’s OEM charger and see what amperages they are.
BTW, UL requires testing of these products before they can be sold. 😊
Ive seen them at large DIY big box stores, like Lowes.

If you look in the same aisle as extension cords and surge protectors, there are plug in units available that have slots for the USB part of the power cords in addition to plugging in other items. We had to get one for our office to plug in all the devices.
