How can I make it easier to get out of the tub?
I have a deep jet tub. I also have two bad knees. Getting in no problem but have a terrible time getting out. Any ideas that would help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated

No advice but we took out our tub and put in a shower, just for that reason. I do miss soaking but it became too hard for me to get out....sort of had to get on my knees and roll out of the tub onto the floor....not a pretty picture but was best I could do. Hope you come up with a good solution.
Maybe you could look into getting a walk in tub? Some medicare covers it, some insurance too. Hope you find a way to get one. Other than that, you can get handles placed on and around the tub to help pull yourself up. These need to be anchored well into a stud or on the tub itself. Perhaps you can get a professional to install it or a relative/friend who is capable of doing it for you. You can buy stud finders if you decide to try installing them yourself. Also, you might want to use a stool in the tub and a movable shower head to hand shower yourself rather than sit in a tub. It is up to you what works best for your situation.
For sure if you can afford it,have a handicap shower installed with seat, grab bars, and handheld shower head. It may save your life! Also, do not have glass doors. I know they are pretty, but if you fall it means(1) trouble for someone to get you out, and (2) you may fall into the door and break the glass gettin even more enmities from the glass. We just did this and absolutely feel much safer.
If you live near an Aldi, they had something you put on your tub to help you get in and out. They have what they call "Aldi Finds" which are things other than groceries, that they bring in once a week, but when they're gone, they're gone. I bought a great item from them. It's an arch-shaped bar that helps me get up and down out of the bed when I throw my back out. It also helps me turn on to my side, etc. when I throw my back out. I can relate to your issue. I too, have bad knees so when I squat down in a store to look at something on the lower shelf, my husband has to help me back up. Good luck!
I don't have a jet tub, but I too need secure help getting in and out of my tub-I had my plumber install grab bars in several key places and now I can just grab and get out (do not use grab bars with suction-they are not safe)
