Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray it on the hard water stains and let it work. If they are tougher stains, you may have to scrub with a plastic scrubbie!
White vinegar will remove it.
a 50/50 mix of vinegar and Dawn may be too heavy for the aluminum. I warm up a cup of white vinegar and then a few tablespoons of Dawn Platinum, mix and then pour into a spray bottle. Fill the spray bottle with water, shake well. Then you are ready to use. Te vinegar only has to be heated one time to fully mix the Dawn. Also do not use Dollar store Dawn, it is not as thick and will not work.
Spray it on at night, rinse off in the morning.
