I'd go with a contractor on this one. I'd rather be certain...
I go into my attic to determine this. If there is no framework on the top of that wall it should not be a support wall.
Is there a wall directly above? More than likely a support wall. To answer I'd need to see your roof line and joists. If in doubt call a pro.
