I use wool dryer balls in with my wet laundry and add some essential oils to the dryer balls. It makes everything smell so nice!
Linda, Your dryer will smell like the odor item, unless you wash it first. Aloha!
You could try actually cleaning your lint tray in your machine to get rid of orders, or adding a small cloth sprinkled with essential oil to add a nice scent to your clothing. The woman in this video uses rose scented essential oil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzL5q6RnMPs

Use wool dryer balls with essential oils on them...you can drip the oils on your dryer balls each time you use the dryer
