How can I make a cement floor more cozy feeling?

Its a really big space and I have a few rugs scattered around..but I need the whole thing to feel cozy and comfortable..oh! And pretty..!

    You could get those dense foam squares that are used in children's play rooms, or the industrial ones for garages and work areas, then if you wish, put your rugs scattered on top. The children's ones usually are 4 colours in a package, the industrial ones are black or grey.

    Yes.. I do have some of those..yes they cozy it up quite nice..great idea. I'm just afraid of the cost to do the whole area..like a 20x20..lol. Thank you

    Hello, We painted our basement concrete laundry room floor in 2015 and are very pleased with it. The dog feeding area is there and its holding up great. I hope this helps.

    I painted my cement floor in the basement. I started out years ago painting it a teal color. Then recently I painted area rugs on the floor by taping off large square areas, painting a pattern, then adding a painted fringe to the edges. It adds interest and will make your space seem a little more cozy.
