How do I repair my heating unit?
Help!! My thermostat is set to 72, inside temp is 67. The fan on the unit is working but there’s nothing whatsoever coming on inside. The thermostat read auxiliary heat. Turned it off and back on, now flashes heat. Nothing at all is blowing inside.

My husband said the coils might be frozen over. Sometimes that happens when they don't get enough airflow.
Restricted airflow over the coils is caused by a clogged, dirty air filter. How often do you change yours?
As I understand it by re-reading your original note, you are looking for heat, not AC. Since there is nothing coming from your vents, I'd have to say your blower is not working. Whether the problem is the blower itself, or something electronic that is malfunctioning and not delivering the signal to the blower to operate, I cannot guess. Your best solution is to call a local HVAC company and get it looked at. I urge you to call several and ask what their initial service call charge is, as it can vary greatly. Having said that, remember that cheaper is not always better. Ask friends who they use, reliable and honest are key here, more-so than price. Good Luck.
