Have you tried wonder under iron on? Or liquid stitch? Both at craft stores or Walmart.
I used hot glue to make curtains, so I'm sure it would work for a cushion. You could also use Velcro so it's removable.
I am not sure how big your couch cushion is for your swing. You could use pillows cases and Velcro/safety pins if your cushion would fit in the pillow cases and then close with stick on Velcro or safety pins. You could use a twin sheet and safety pins to fashion a no sew cover. You could just buy a new cushion that fits--the stores are just putting out their spring and summer lawn furniture now.
Solid coloured crib sheets would fall in line with Gk's comment and that's exactly what I was going to suggest. Without knowing the dimensions of the cushions it's hard to suggest anything else!
Witch Stitchery. Or go to Ross or Big Lots (formerly Pic n Save) they’re super cheap like $10 for seat cousins & 19.99 max! for the long lounger size. And they’re nicely stuffed not flimsy! I think you’d spend a lot more buying materials to make them.
Get the thickest pillow protector . Dye them the color you want or need .take the oldest pillows you have needed to get rid of. And there you have very cheap but great cushions.
I recently did a project that required a covered cushion for the seat and I was able to find some nice quality foam on Amazon that I could cut to size with a bread knife. Once sized, I covered it with an old tablecloth, pinning it on the bottom. I can change it out anytime I want to something else and not damage the fabric. You can use fabric by the yard, shower curtains, sheets; use your imagination and have fun with it! (The safety pin idea was from decorator Simplicity patterns!)
I dont think it will last even with fabric glue
get an extra large pillowcase for body pillow and then to close the open end use stick on velcro
