Why does my frost-free fridge frost up across the back in the bottom?
I have a french door refrig side by side doors with a large bottom freezer drawer. What would cause frost to gather across the back of the freezer? I see it when I pull the drawer to get cubes or reach for an item way in the back.I usually have to "defrost " the freezer once a month and it's a pain in the back to unload the food from the freezer and take it to the deep freeze in the garage. Please help this senior!!!

Gather up your information of model number, serial numbers, etc. Call the manufacturer to get their suggestions. Sounds like the door seals are not tight.
Hi Karen,
Get the make and model numbers and give the manufacturer a call.
Moisture in the air collects on cold surfaces insidethe freezer, forming frost. ... These include door not shut all the way; a defective door seal that allows moist air to settle on cold freezer walls or a faulty component interrupting the built-in automatic defrost cycle

Check your settings to see if they are too low or high. If you have the appliance book it should be in there or go to the mfg website and get info. Here are other ideas

You might have a fan that isn't working properly.
Just had this problem. The rubber seals on the door were not sealing the refrigertor properly. Put a piece of paper in the door and close it. If the paper pulls out easily, the seals are not tight and they need to be replaced. My refrigerator was 12 years old so I replaced the it with a newer one (same brand name) that had newer features.
And your coils or fan may be dirty which I blow mine out with a blower then the fan blades were dirty and I cleaned them off and it will work better. I hope in your case. Just something to check?
