What is this?
Is there a name for this cutter thing? It's from Staple. I can find out how it works when I google the name. Thanks

It looks like a paper cutter
Mine looks like that and is a photo cutter
The first time I looked at this, I thought it was a guillotine (gee yo teen) paper cutter, with a blade/chopper attached at one end, that lifts to chop at the other. But now I see this is a paper trimmer, rail attached at both ends, with a blade/cartridge that slides on the rail.
Hi Ann, It is a trimmer. Here's the link I found from Staples: https://www.google.com/shopping/product/10245666658037603525?lsf=seller:10048,store:12859573928897023670&prds=oid:12286210702388237667&q=photo+cutter+from+Staples&hl=en&ei=8gmVXOnZC4q1_AbvioCICg&lsft=adlpxid:pla;564398203366;325594113026;c;9011817;pla-564398203366;704252;pla;local;1057&lsft=gclid:Cj0KCQjwj9LkBRDnARIsAGQ-hUchp65QbaGK8BBqoC1k5zqx7MXgkPT77gfcOwpvoE0CFudm-wokZcMaAnV3EALw_wcB
I couldn't find that exact model, but I found a video how to for one like it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3yzlkk6SlE
Good luck!
Those extra plastic parts come in very handy for doing precision work.
Thank you for your time, that was exactly what I need. Have a great day!
