How can I glue sisal rope to cardboard? What is the best glue to use?
I am trying to make decorative baskets using heavy cardboard boxes. I tried a spray glue, but it wasn't working.

Try E6000, I used it to glue sisal to metal and it worked fine.
Agree, you can also use clear Gorilla Glue.

You could try hot glue as well.
I would use hot glue, that's my go to.
Use a hot glue gun.
Probably need something like Hot Glue to apply and maybe clamp in place till dry.
A hot glue gun should work that is what I use to adhere sisal rope to my cats scratching post.
Titlebond wood glue.
