How do I remove stains on a linoleum floor around the toilet?
There are dark stains on the linoleum floor in the bathroom on both sides of the toilet. Tried using Baking soda with peroxide but it didn't work. HELP!!
The white stains might be soap scum. Mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. After letting the mixture sit on the stains for 30 minutes, scrub with a green ScotchBrite dish scrubber. Be sure to rinse it well so the shower floor won't be slippery.

That milky white substance is efflorescence that is minerals from the grout mixture. I would remove the efflorescence using a mild acid and then seal with a grout sealer.
Wet & forget shower used weekly will clean over a few weeks plus keep clean without scrubbing.
It sounds like you may have minerals in the water causing the stains. White vinegar will remove them.
