What do I do with a dated bathroom floor?
I’d like to update the look of my bathroom floor old tiles without removing them. I wonder if I can or even should paint the floor?
Any ideas and help is much appreciated.

Yes, you can paint floor tiles. Clean them first very thoroughly with a cleaner like Krudkutter. Sand lightly. Prime and paint. Good luck on your project.
You can also do stenciling depending on how much time you want to spend on it! Here is a suggestion

Thank you all!
Yep. Paint them. I recommend a good cleaning and fill in cracks and missing grout. Clean again prime and paint and yes I’ve seen some beautiful stenciling projects here on Hometalk. Check them out
peel n press ? tiles
You can have them re-glazed. I had this done and it holds up better than paint. The bathtub can be done also, it will look brand new.
Just a thought here...I like your floor tile, what if you regrouted it with a blue grout that matches the wall tile? It'd be the easiest and quickest change. If not blue, maybe gray or charcoal. Or find a long washable runner rug in that blue tile color.
I bought the attached "floor pops" on Amazon. I put them on a bathroom and have had no issue. Going to get more and do my entry. They have a beautiful blue one that would look beautiful in your room. Really affordable.
