Can I paint my laminate cabinets?
I ve been reading about all the cabinet makeovers, but they are all wood. I wonder if anybody has tried and been successful at painting laminate cabinets? In this instance black to white. I'm afraid to try it.

How come my cabinet turned yellow when I painted over the chalk paint?
I repainted my jewelry armoire with white Rustoleum Chalk Paint. When I painted the matte sealer (also from Rustoleum) it left yellow streaks all over it.
I would try painting them with chalk or milk paint. Those paints are designed for repainting cabinets and furniture. You only need to lightly sand, then clean the cabinets before painting. You only need to minimally scuff up tne surface to make the paint adhere. My cabinets are wood, but I used milk paint on them: http://momhomeguide.com/my-painted-kitchen-cabinets-a-year-later/

Yes, You Can Paint Laminate!
Painting Bathroom Cabinets
Yes, you can paint. Best to stay away from water based paints like latex or chalk. The will peel and wash off after awhile. Clean very well then prime with oil based primer and paint with oil based paint for best results.
