You can purchase a cord cover and then paint to match the wall.
you find cord covers at office supply stores. you insert the wire thru the slit in the cover. then "click"the slit closed.
Hi Amy, if you are able to sew, I like to use fabric to cover cords. You cut a really, really long rectangle (twice the length and width of the cord) and sew the edges together. Slip it over the cord and it bunches up and covers the cord. You can see it in this photo here... https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/304415256038707871/?lp=true Hope that helps!
Since the cord enters the building a foot or so down, I am assuming something on the inside prevented it from entering the building any further up or you would have done so, right?! Well, if you can move it up, do so. Otherwise, paint it to match the siding. They make channel conduit for this purpose, which attaches over the cord, but I don't see that that would accomplish more than painting the cord would. And use some exterior putty to seal that hole.
Fabric cord covers are designed for interior use only, as they are not exterior weather proof.
Wiremold raceway.
