ive started to cut pallet boards for top and bottom and same boards cut to stand up in the centre

I have an idea but it would take a larger spool. Years ago I got an axel from a mobile home (cut in half) and set it in cement in my back yard, attached the side of the spool to the top. I covered it with turf fabric and installed PVC pipes for handles, etc. This merry-go-round was so sturdy and smooth that the 2 year old could push it with 7 "big kids" on it. Now, my adult kids fight over who gets to "inherit" it when/if I move.
