Oh, Judi, I’m so sorry you have someone with fibromyalgia. Despite my spine’s need for a firm mattress, I found that the softer, puffier, and silkier the mattress cover was (out of three we bought), the more comforting the mattress covering is. We now are using a different cover because I am now incontinent. But I have my comfy cover nearby for when I can use it again.
Best wishes and prayers, Jewell
Hi Judi!
Fibromyalgia is so painful that anything can make it feel even worse. I hope this will help you! Wishing you a good and restful sleep.

I have tired the cheap ones and the expensive ones. The expensive memory foam did help for a while. No matter what they tell you they do brake down after a bit and then they do not help. I paid over $200.00 for the last one and now it has broken down also and does not help.
And if you sleep hot be wary of a memory foam topper that isn't made of a cooling gel. Some can be pretty bad at heat build up. Even the My Pillows are bad for reflecting body heat back at you.
I will get trigger points...that feel like painful marbles under my skin. I press on them as hard as I can stand then massage the area and repeat until it doesn't hurt that much. That is how I get those knots to settle down. For the places I can't reach, I use a tennis ball against a wall. I learned this technique from my hubby's therapist.
Hi Judy - Not specific to your question. But I suffer/ed from Autoimmune, with the worst side effects being chronic fatigue and fibro. Here's some of my favorite sleep hacks. Hope it helps with some inspiration and blessings to you and vibrant health. Hugs, Hollyhttps://pinkfortitude.com/sleeping-oasis/
I have found that using a heated mattress pad works for me. The warmth keeps me from feeling sore and stiff in the morning. I have one that you can preheat at night so you can crawl into a warm bed. I keep the setting on #1 in the summer as well and I don't feel that I am too warm. Water beds are awesome too but don't know if you can buy them anymore.
Have you thought about a featherbed mattress topper? I just entered "featherbed mattress toppers" in the search engine, and several came up at various price ranges.
