How do you get rid of the black areas (maybe mold?) under mirrors?
I have thre large bathroom mirrors attached to the wall. All of them have some areas of black just under the bottom edges - about 1/4 inch or less.
Hi Stephanie!
Here is some information for you to consider. Good luck.

Use white vinegar and let the pans sit for about an hour then clean with a scrubbie.
Stephanie, this is one time that I suggest that you throw them all out. Although it sounds wasteful, black mold can be deadly, and it is not worth it to put anyone at risk of illness or death due to mold poisoning.
I agree, throw them out. Shop sales, garage sales, thrift shops, estate sales, but get rid of them.
Have u had personal experience with black mold???
Submerge in white vinegar and set in sun. Orgive away to a metal recycle collector.

I would be concerned about where they were stored, that needs to be cleaned too. If there is a heavy infestation, best to call in the pros. Highly regulated by the EPA. Not all mold remediation is a DIY.
