Hello Diane! If you paint your ceiling the same color as your walls how it affects the room will depend on the color. If your paint color is dark--especially if it really dark--like black-- it will make the room appear smaller. If your paint color is light it may make your room appear bigger or less claustrophobic than if your paint was dark. Some people use the same color family on the walls and ceiling by going one step lighter on the paint swatch for the ceiling or vice/versa. It's all a matter of personal taste.
Because of how the light hits it, the ceiling color will look darker than the walls.
Only one color to buy.
A dark ceiling will make a room look smaller.
It can be very elegant depending on the color used.
Usually your room looks bigger because your eye doesn't stop. This even works with dark colors.
If the color is light, it makes the ceilings look higher. If it's dark it makes it feel like a cave.
It will make the room look bigger if you use a light color!
it acutally look awesome .. but keep it light
