Hello Gracie! The easiest way to add a fence around your birdhouse would be to go to your local home improvement store like Menards and find some push in fencing that you like. The push in fencing comes in different heights, designs, and colors and prices are reasonable-especially if on sale. They do have push in fencing that looks like picket fencing. Here's an example from Lowes for you: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Greenes-Common-0-75-in-x-36-in-x-18-in-Actual-0-75-in-x-36-in-x-18-in-White-Spruce-Pine-Fir-Garden-Fence-Panel/3044308
Hi Gracie, have you thought about the using the composite picket fence border they make for gardens? It should be about the right height. Here is a link for ones at Walmart. You would have to cut off the stake that goes into the ground and then you could use zip ties to affix it together.

If you want a decorative fence on the birdhouse, you can buy small rolls of fencing. You will find it with doll house and fairy garden supplies in craft stores.
I found my picket fencing at Michaels. Thanks everyone for your ideas. Thank you. Here it is. Still a work in progress.
