How to fix or clean this old yucky chalk and grout?
I tried to clean this grout and chalk that's old and yucky. Nothing works. Should I peel chalk off and put new chalk on? And paint on grout?
I buy carpet cleaning powder - i think Febreeze makes it. Sprinkle on and vacuum off like the can directs. Major refresh!
Baking soda is what I use. Sprinkle on and let sit for a bit (I sprinkle at night) and vacuum up the next morning. I have a bunch of pets and don't want to use chemicals that may not be good for them.
I sprinkle baking soda on my carpet and let set overnight, then vacuum well the next morning.
Sprinkle baking soda on it. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then vacuum.
I think the problem has been resolved. Thanks to everyone for their replies. They have given me several ways to proceed.
