How do I create a fence on top of my decking?

Our dachshund keeps going down and under deck ...to the crawl space that has to be kept open for air flow. We live in town house and lot is narrow but mostly decking.

Could you post a photo so what you see can be seen by us? It would make it clearer to find a solution for your problem.
You might be able to buy some push in garden fencing so your dog can't get under the deck. The fencing comes in different heights and decorative patterns. Your local home improvement store like a Menards will have lots to pick from.
We use lattice to keep our dogs out from under the deck and on the deck. It comes in many colors and can be wooden or vinyl (no painting ever). Hope this helps
Hi Sharon, you could add some mesh below the railing to keep him/her from getting off the deck. Or add some lattice, it comes in plastic, and you can cut it to size
